for 25 minutes the caller and others persisted in saying the internet connection will be disconnected if i didn'y go to a website and allow access to my system... VERY pushy

Fraud or SCAM - They pretended to be from Virgin Media and asked me to start the computer, click on the windows icon+r to open the run command. Then asked me to run assoc. They refused to send me an email or text right away so that i could verify their identity,

I received a automated call saying they are HMRC and they are carrying out a lawsuit against me and to press 1 to speak to case officer.I was very worried and I am a carer looking after elderly parents. I looked up the phone number on google and I want to thank everyone for warning me that this a scam.Its awful because elderly people will believe it's a true phone call This scam should be stopped.

Basically it’s the same number that’s just called me I didn’t answer as I am only 14 but I read all of the comments and I found some funny what ever u do if u get a call from that number don’t answer

Caller tried to get my online pin besides full name date of birth and postcode Seemed pretty hard work on spelling!! but NOT Santander so DO NOT believe them and see any branch if contacted !!!!

Answered phone as I was expecting call and all I could hear was numerous people saying "hello" at varying stages with strange background sound. Blocked.

Offered me a loan, told me to pay a month up front, then told me they wanted more money. Told me if I didn’t pay it I would lose my first paid instalment, and they would take £250 out of my account without my permission, as they had my bank details.

I missed this call but when checking the area code I found it to be from the Orkney Islands. I was not expecting a call from there and looking into it further it could be an accident claims company.

This number 01235380237 keep calling my parents insisting that my parents are their customer. This is all false. They start with a normal conversation and attempt to lull them into giving personal and sensitive information. They are polite and when you ask them to follow GDPR, their response is that my parents are their customer, implying it doesn't matter. Total nonsense and these guys are thieves, phishing for info, preying on the vulnerable. Please report them ASAP.

DANGER! SUSPECTED SCAM! Indian man called saying is with Gmail, asking for my mother by name. Said gmail was accessed from Liverpool by "harry". She was away, and they said they would call back next week, which is nonsense if email has been accessed. I pressed them for details if they were from Gmail, and asked them to send me an email to another email. As I spelt out the email they hung up, and did not answer when called back.

Car accident

This number has called me twice a day for the last 2 weeks! Started calling after I blocked another 01208 nuisance caller. Claiming to be from 'Reliance Advisory'. The area code is local to cornwall but after a company search they are based in Manchester. Just another company using local area codes to get you to pick up, don't bother just block!!

answered because it's same prefix as me. Data Protection Helpline they call themselves. Ha! Can't even tell me where they got my data from. When I asked them, they sited data protection. I said "Well it's my data, so I'd like to know where you got it

SCAM Fake security company trying to get me to install security on my laptop. Hung up and they called me again using a different number.
