I only use my mobile for emergencies so only my family have the number. It's quite alarming to get other persons using it - several missed calls from unrecognisable numbers in the last few days. Blood pressure rises. This misuse is abuse.

Claimed I'd repaid too much on a loan I took out in 2008. Told him I had never had a loan in my life and thought he was a scam. Claimed he couldn't be a scam as he wasn't going to ask for my bank details. Said I didn't care I'd never had a loan and wouldn't be talking to him.
Utility provider that supposedly specialises in smart meters.... missed numerous calls from them for around two weeks. Answered today offering information on switching, when I declined and asked for my number to be removed from their database they decided to argue with me about why I did not want to switch. Rude and Strange. I don’t think it is even a legitimate company. Be wary!

After several e-mails, they eventually coughed up £50.00 as a 'good will' gesture, but the total owing was over £250.00. My partner was adamant she never signed up for the service and today she finally got hold of the bill for July 2016 which proves this beyond doubt. They are conning scum and when they claim their ‘robustly verifiable’ sign-up
