Recieved a similar call from the RCNG? group - financial queries - hung up.
I was called at about 11.35 am today with a recorded message saying that my card had been used to pay £700+ on Amazon and £2000 international money transfer, asking me to press 1 to speak to someone, which I did not do. I strongly suspect that this is a scam.
This is the number for Lockswift chester and north wales. Legitimate calls only.

My wife took the call and person with a Asian voice started to go on about my council tax and when i asked why he was calling at this time he said it was very important and i told him all government offices are closed and that this is a failed scam and he and his boss must be as thick as hell to call at this time then i put the phone down. Beware its another scam.

Fraud. Called to say there was a fraudulent overseas transaction on my debit card. I asked which bank my card was with and they said Lloyds - I don't have a Lloyds account. He then hung up.

Did not answer message left suggesting unusual activity on your card. Does not name the card. Asks you to press buttons on your phone. Ignored and blocked. Obviously a scam.

SCAM - Automated message saying 'this is bank security because there are 2 charges to your account - 1 for Amazon for £300 and one for international charges for £1000.
Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

Almost certainly SPAM/SCAM as it called at the usual parasites'/pests' evening time, in this case 6.30pm. There was a suspicious pause & silence (auto-dialler?) when I answered and then the call was disconnected. Sky stole money from me. Sky threatened me. And then their CEO promised they would never contact me again. So why is it I keep getting harassed by this number. Don t pick up. Ignore all calls. The most untrustworthy and inept organisation I have ever had to deal with.
