Told me he was from Windows but when i challenged him he told me he was getting very angry with me and wanted to use slang words. Then told me he needed money and I should give him some as people like me are rich because the government gives me money. Got even more aggressive when I said no . I asked him where he was from and he said South Africa !!Could have been really scary for old person

Number pretends to be HMRC calling about tax fraud registered against my name. Automated call, threatens you with imminent arrest if you hang up or don't press 1. Once you press one, a very deep Asian sounding accent answers and asks you for your details. Which they should have since they claim to have opened a case against you. And when we were having our tea, the house rang with this number and when we didn t answer it the mobile rang....this makes you think it is an urgent call???!!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS! Your internet and phone line are fine...there isn t a problem with it at all. It s just these thieving bastatds trying to relieve you of your cash...they get abusive when challenged..

I explained that I was comparing prices because my motor insurance was due for renewal, they insisted that I had had an accident, and they could help. I had to terminate the call. Who are these people? More to the point, how did they get my mobile number?
