Fraud - Claims to be virgin media saying I have an internet issue and they want access to my computer.
London numbers don t start with a 2 after the 020,so it s a fake.
Man with South African accent tried to sell me washing machine insurance - became offensive when I declined - mentioned my wife and then hung up on me.

Got a call from this number saying that I had successful PPI claim on a credit card and they needed UKASH voucher for their 10% commission - although I had never paid PPI on that card. A quick google check showed another cost trap with very similar number (02032864182) with almost identical MO. I shall therefore most definitely NOT be giving them any UKASH code, nor any other detail. Hopefully I can help protect potential victims.

Disgusted at Greenpeace, I have donated for years and every year they wanted more money. On retiring I halved my monthly direct debit, last year after a 40 min harrassment call staring with just increase your monthly payment by ?25.00 ridiculous, they went through it all ?20, ?15, you get my drift. DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.

Fraud caller said his name was Brian and he worked for Microsoft and based in Reading. Told me that I had down loaded illegal material on my computer, to log on and he would clear it. when I declined he threatened me by "blocking" my internet access. I suggested he do that and I would call him back to be reconnected. He hung up!
