Knew my name and said they were from “my local bank” and wouldn’t say which bank. “Security questions” needed answering to reveal which bank. Load of scamming, conning nonsense and when questioned they threw a paddy. Horrible, horrible people.
SCAM and dangerous
SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance. Then asked how I was doing and when I replied they just hung up. HOW RUDE! Pity really, as I pride myself on keeping them on the line as long as I can.

Telemarketing - Grace from Adecco Recruitment, apparently - cold-texted via WhatsApp!! Won't be opening the message, as don't wish for it to appear as having been read. How's she gotten my phone number anyhow? Annoying to say the least!
SCAM this number calls and tries to get you to sign up for medical emergency devices like pendants. They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.

Received a call from this on my mobile. A real person calling claiming to act on behalf of an insurance company, interested in an RTA that I was involved in within the last three years that wasn't my fault. Fraud called themselves Virgin Mobile but later found to be Cheetay Logistics PVT Ltd (pakistan) took loads of details promising to reduce monthly Phone bills and provide a new phone. After asking for passwords and discussing a new contract, bank details were taken and phone to be delivered. They tried to then scam £13,065.01 out of a bank account starting with a £9.35 delivery charge, a £30 bank check then took a £24 charge further amounts stopped bank details changed and reported to the fraud squad.
