Fraud Man rang from this number pretending to be from my locality not Manchester, checking to see if I was at home. Suspect part of a burglary gang.

Probable scam. Didn’t answer but when I called back I had a message saying the number was not in use. This is a red flag for a scammer!

SCAM This looked like a local number BUT it was a recorded message purporting to come from Amazon about a sizeable sum taken from my account for an order and to press 1 if it wasn't me who made the order. Needless to say I hung up without pressing any numbers.

Apparently calling from hmrc for tax avasion. Robot caller

Called saying i had two transactions against my visa card they believed were suspicious. One from amazon for a small amount and another for someone else for over 1k. asked me to press some buttons to agree or query these transactions, not a chance thanks.

Automated call - voice message to say the number has been compromised and could be used as a scam call and please do not respond or have anything more to do with this number .

Told me in the last 2 weeks I had 40000 Euros frozen and now sates it's £50,000 frozen for me.

I got a call this a recorded message saying that it was from HMRC and they had sent a letter to me which had been returned to them and they were about to start a prosecution against e and I should press the 1 keg to speak to an agent. I immediately hung up. This is an old scam which is apparently still doing the rounds.

Blocked now answered after 2nd call they hung up tried calling on 7 different numbers previously blocked nuisance calls persistent you block one they call on a different number same Ashford code

When I said I was retired, she said I wouldn’t be eligible for a tax rebate when I asked what the reason for the call was. She signed off.

Said he was called Jack from BT Business Head office and he could do me a better deal than by Local BT Business office. Jack, you seem to be the only person working for BT Business as you are the only person making these sales calls, for such a large business!!. I don't believe this is BT as you can see in other searches Jack seems to be the only person making these calls, probably to gain information about your business. He didn't get any from me. Possibly dangerous.

People find it hard to stay committed again. It’s becoming a difficult thing. Getting information & data you need is quite not a big deal. Sometimes the truth needs to be unveiled by whatsoever means necessary. Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Reported to the ICO

I received a text from +447400865970 telling me to call this number because I have requested a card to be sent to AL10 9UH. It doesn't say what kind of card, but I suppose I am supposed to think that it is my bank texting me. Fraud SCAM
