SCAM 01392433831 called me today approximately 11pm on my landline - I don't say anything when i answer and wait for the caller to speak first - but when I took the call it had a very noisy background like a call centre, but no discernible conversations then the caller hung up. This is a typical nuisance call - usually from overseas with heavily accented BT/O2/Vodafone/EE 'Technician' wanting to access my accounts etc. They always hangup if i don't say anything first.

"Best Ever Loans" called me to see if I managed to get my loan ? Yes I had. They wanted to know if i wanted to consolidate my debts; alarm bells went off and I asked "are you a debt management company?" He told me know. I asked if they were regulated by the FCA? He said no! Ok, so I recommended it would be worth being a bit more transparent; since they are an unregulated DMC called Best Ever "Loans". That doesn't seem clear to me. Scammers at work

We had a call from "Virgin Media" to say there was a fault with our new router which was replaced last week. I was only half awake so went through quite a process before I twigged - how did they know we had just had a new router fitted - it was the fact they new that which made me think it was real. Someone is working for Virgin who must be giving this information and telephone number

This was a missed call, so I called it back but just got the BT message "you've dialled an incorrect number" so it appears that at today's date, the number is not actually allocated and falsely used to hide the real number - Not sure how they do this and when are BT/Openreach going to stop this happening and clean up their system - the number displayed should be the actual number being used, ok, number blocking is another matter but should only be reserved for private numbers, going to gue

Called several times but rang off before I could answer. On calling back the number is disconnected.

Rang my number several times every couple of months, when I did previously answer I told them I was not interested, a few days later someone else would call again, I have had 3 calls in 2 days, which I did not answer.
