They will do anything possible to hide the fact that they are energy brokers which is actually against the Trading Standards but Ofgem will soon start to go after them. Been called by 0113 419 9990 numerous times over the past 3 days. I answered the call today to be told it s about my pension - and they could see its frozen. The lady was called Becky (thats if they use their real names) who wanted details of my pension, which I wouldnt give, she tried to convince me there was nothing wrong but I said how did know who she was, I said I would leave it and deal with it myself - she hung up!! So much for trying to convince me she was genuine. These scams are really getting out
Knew my name said they were calling, can get rid of debt and stop bank fees. Said I don't have any debt and hung up. Sounded dodgy, especially since I don't have any debt and so I have no idea how these people had my number and name, you could hear other people talking in the background and it took a while for the person to start talking to me once I answered, like he wasn't there to begin with, and was connected to the call after I had answered, which seems suspicious. Possible fraud, certainly bad
