I got a 'eBay' code (allegedly) from this number. To those people who are saying this number is genuine, what made them go on to this website? If I get a genuine text, I don't then search that number on the internet and then make a comment on a site that deals with dodgy phone numbers. There are many such comments, which is even more suspicious!

Recieved Text message on my mobile at 01:36a.m. ! It was described as from NatWest telling me I'd get a call from this no about a Debit Card payments and my card was blocked . I rang the NAT WEST fraud team's number from their web pages and it verified that they had called me on my mobile so it was from them. Then verified several recent transactions I had made. Keep getting calls about an accident on this number. Can not call it back, just get a recorded message, which is the same as number leaves on voicemail. Avoid.
Fraud American accent, pre-recorded message saying it was HMRC and there was a problem with my tax record. Told me that in order to avoid jail I needed to sort this out immediately and had to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Potentially very threatening for anyone who didn’t recognise it as a scam. Google search reveals that if I had pressed 1 my call might have been rerouted to a different country and I could have faced hefty phone charges.

This company has called me between 2-3 times a day telling me I've applied for a loan. Each time I've assured them I haven't applied for s loan and ask to removed off marketing, and each time they hang up when I asked to be removed and continue to call me each day. Does anybody know what offence is being committed here and how I could begin prosecution? As I don't believe it's a breach of data protection

Had this number call twice, the second time I answered I asked the caller to speak up as I was deaf (I m not deaf). So the caller raised there voice, I said I m sorry but they would have to speak louder, after doing this several times they were absolutely screaming down the phone.... I told them I still couldn t hear, would they speak louder. In the end they hung up on me and have not called back.

Called both my landline and my mobile on a Sunday evening. Clearly a Birmingham number. I know the university does fundraising drives amongst alumni but these calls stress not just a nuisance but very intrusive. I understand the Uni says it wants to improve the lot of students but given the vast fees students have to pay that really do not equate to what they are provided with, I think it's a joke, not to say insulting, chasing alumni for money in this devious manner.
