Yet another hoax accident phone line!

Some half-understood explanation about a government survey before I cut in to say I wear registered with the TPS. They rang off.

This is a company called www.ppiclaimine.com. They have a freephone number 0800 0783542 which took me an age to track down. The person who has been harassing me for 2-years now is well spoken but with a potty mouth when challenged. Please keep on calling this number (it s free and you have nothing to lose). We need to fight back against these scammers.

Accident recovery company; will randomly phone people and ask them about "the accident" they where recently involved in. They will Phish for details and if you bite, they will sell your claim onto another company for commission

Sometimes I wonder if these calls are generated by call blocker companies themselves to increase sale of their call blocking apps

I think this is a scam number aiming to talk the vulnerable (ie people with debts) into giving out their bank details. I terminated the call as soon as they mentioned debts/creditors

They rang me twice about a road traffic accident in the last three years. I don't even own a car!

Claimed I had a problem with my computer and should let him log on to fix it.....as if!

This crap company has called about 4 times in past couple of weeks. Each time I requested that they remove my number from their database as I think they re dispicable, low life, preying on the vulnerable. A friend who had a car accident was totally taken in by a similar company, as they called the day after her accident, so she thought they were from her insurance company. Told me he had detected my wireless connection was slow and they had been monitoring it for two weeks on the DNS server. He said my computer had a virus and needed me to connect to the internet so he could fix it. I told him I was an IT manager and he was talking nonsense and to go forth and multiply. He rang back and replied likewise and called me derogatory names. Don t be fooled by callers from this number telling you your computer has a virus. Hang up!!!
