The number is for a place called Sam's Cafe. They phoned me claiming to be Carphone Warehouse, offering me a deal on the latest iPhone. I was in the market for a new phone, lucky I didn't bite.

Got a call from 01564634905. The operator said he worked for UK Debt Solutions, it was a bit difficult to understand him because of his Indian like accent and I was right next to some factories thrumming away. 08000520360 - Texts received with sender’s name as VirginMedia for an overdue payment for Virgin Media. This is a scam as have no dealings with anything related to Virgin Media.
Fraud - I think. A male with I think and Asian accent called from this number. He asked for me by name and said he was calling from Microsoft then asked if I was the main user of the computer in my hone. I asked "Which Computer is that then?" and he hung up. Another number check site has lots of people checking this number and it appears to be from various different places so I think it must be an attempt to access a persons computer or something like that.
Fraud. Text received from them saying they are the "PRA Group. You have a discount". I didn't open the text, but googled PRA Group instead. Apparently they are an American debt collecting agency. Blocked!

No idea who called. I didn't recognise the number so I didn't answer. Caller's number apparently located in Newport, South Wales and no reason for anyone from that location to call me.
