Man called - said his name was Sean Cruz - said he was from the Citizens Advice - got my details from the Office of Fair Trading. Said his address was 24 Lancashire!! I pressed him more, said his address was 24 Heather Ave, Lancashire, 208 001 Tried to get details out of me, I would not confirm anything. Told him I was registered with TPS and he should not be calling. He told me he s been getting away with these calls for years and TPS were useless. I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.

Silent call received from 07943011564: I received a call from this number just now. I didn't answer and within seconds, the caller hung up. It could have been a scam or a nuisance caller, I'm not sure, but it's the second of these that I've received today. Phoned the number back and the 'phone is switched off.

SCAM I don't pick up on unknown numbers so they can leave a voicemail if they are legitimate No voicemail left, after ten minutes I called the number back and this was the message : "This is an incorrect number please check and redial" So my advice, never pick up, wait for them to leave voicemail, google number and then call back if needed HTH

SCAM - Chris claiming to be from from the Green Eco Centre, my "local" energy company, based in South West London. Have had several similar calls from Bournemouth numbers, telling me that my roof insulation needs replacing.
Apparently they make money on you making a return call...don't ask me how but it sort of makes sense because everyone seems to have the same response.
