My Dad phones my mobile from France using Skype and it comes through as various numbers including this one.

Was called, returned call, no answer - immediately changed to music playing

Standard you have a virus scammer, saying they were from TalkTalk. They are using the hacked TalkTalk customer details list.

someone called said they were Sue Edge, no idea who that is, never called it back. sounded dodgy

Came up as international then with an obvious spoof copycat area number. Glasgow isn t international if you are in Scotland. Not a problem- now blocked all international numbers using call blocker. Phone is on do not disturb 24/7 so if you aren t recognised then you don t get through. Heads I win, tails I win.

Today called and said he s calling from technical service of virgin media. First told me they receive a lot of error reports sent from my router which they want to fix and then asked me to go to teamwiever.com (remote control software page) which I refused.

This number has called repeatedly for months now. Alarm bells ring for me as there are no 01769 (South Molton) numbers which begin with a '7', so I do not answer.
