Had a call from this number purporting to be an automated call from Amazon but when I rang back it turned out to be a private number who did not know why people were ringing him back!
House of Ladies ask for a police check. I am not sure of them. Perhaps someone can let me know if they are genuine. Usually a good agency as the type on this page should be good. Only the bad ones need a police check. I do not have their number but it can be looked up. They do not charge for admin or so their information states. I received an unexpected call from 020 8058 1673. Upon answering I heard a robotic voice (female) saying 'Goodbye' and the line went dead. With all the incidents of spyware and viruses being deployed via a call, this is rather alarming. Please be careful. Do not answer this Automated call number.

Just received a phone call from this number claiming that my landlord had asked them to carry out a fire safety inspection in my flat. After a brief bit of googling I can't seem to find any information that this number has any ties to fire safety inspections.

I rang back hiding my number, when put through, I was told my details had been passed to them from national database, and that I had been involved in a road collision. I told her she didn t know who I was, but insisted my phone number was displayed and matched to the database. Obviously from the outset this is just a cold call hoping who ever answers has been involved in some kind of accident

Spent 2 minutes on this call with a guy saying he was from tax office. He said I was hiding my tax money. It ended up with him threatening to come to my house tomorrow to collect. He also said I had to have 10 years receipts from anything I bought! A very aggressive caller! Beware!!

What a delightful girl! Called up asking for a Director who isn t based in our office or who ever comes here. I asked what database she was using. SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. Informed me that they could help with my recent RTA. When I said that I haven t had an accident, they said that I must have, cos I had been searching for motor insurance. I explained that I was comparing prices because my motor insurance was due for renewal, they insisted that I had had an accident, and they could help. I had to terminate the call. Who are these people? More to the point, how did they get my mobile number?
