I didn't answer .. but out of curiosity I call the number back .. because my motor insurance company is in Manchester .. but when the call was answered I was not given the company name I was just told I would be put through to the next available agent .. who came on and asked if they could speak to me .. I did not reply .. and he said goodbye using my name .. this was an automated voice so they have your name and number saved .. therefore the number has now been blocked

I also had calls from 01672565719 twice this morning. One female caller one male, a lot of 'office'noise in the background. The first caller said they were from BT and they would be disconnecting me from the Internet because of faults on my computer, or something like that. It was actually difficult to understand them. I put the phone down. The second call I took slightly further by telling the man that he was not from BT. He said I was a fool to think that so I told him he was the fool and also a criminal

Didn't want to give me any information as to where he's got my number from. The company name he gave me was Road Traffic Accident and his name was Danny Morgan when asked for his manager's name he hang up.

Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn't my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn't had an accident, she hung up on me.
