Rang today and listed a stream of debts I DON T have. Hung up on me when I pointed out I have no debts. Thick Indian accent, didn t ask any security questions and also failed to tell me the name of the company twice - he got confused both times so god knows where he was meant to be calling from. Answered call and a young man asked to speak with me by name in regard to private pensions, when he found that I was already retired & receiving a state pension, he said sorry for troubling me and ended the call.

Had about 10 abandoned nuisance calls from this number this week and today, I finally got someone to talk to! She pretended to be a solicitor but when challenged had to admit she was not intelligent enough to be a solicitor. I refused to confirm who I was which irritated her hugely. My telephone is recorded on TPS so this is unlawful cold-calling which I will be reporting to various agencies, namely BT Nuisance calls bureau, TPS, Trading Standards, Companies House, Law Society etc. etc.
