On answering the call the caller said my electricity account was due to expire. It is not, in fact it has another 12 months to run from February 2023. The caller spoke with an accent. Due to this the call was ended.

SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. SCAM this number calls and tries to get you to sign up for medical emergency devices like pendants. They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.

SCAM - Foreigner speaking bad english saying they are from Virgin Media and that I have a problem with my router. Asking to ue the Windows + R key to run eventvwr. Do not do this or give any information. Kept on asking the caller to state my Virgin Media account number. they eventually put the phone down on me :D

Caller with Indian accent said he was from Amazon and was calling about a purchase my wife had supposedly made for an Iphone 11, he said his name was Daniel Smith when I asked. If this number is an O2 number , I suggest that O2 pass on the details of the holder of that sim card to Amazon or the police...
