This number rang me, I picked it up but they hung up on me. I suspect they wanted me to do a survey or something

I'm unsure about this number - people claiming it to be Amazon Prime, Specsavers, electricity and Welsh Water amongst others. But it could be Welsh Water as we had a call from this number this morning (it was blocked by CallGuardian) and our water has been cut off due to a burst watermain. The companies should make it clear on their own website what numbers they call you from so you can tell if they're genuine or not.

Had the same call asked him for his name which he said was Stan Cooper which I doubt. Would not give up until I told him I was contacting the police he swiftly hung up.

The number is an Aldershot number. Called and spoke to my young son asking for a Mr Rogers. Rang again the following morning. He was a polite enough guy but he wouldn t tell me anything. Quite obvious it was a debt collection agency. I asked him why he was still ringing when he was told the previous day there was no-one of that name against my home number and actually I had my number for over 11 years. He told me he was going to remove my number from his list. Very apologetic. We ll see......

Guy with very strong Indian accent, calls within seconds of me posting an advert on Gumtree. Said he was from Victoria Insurance and that it was about my recent minor road traffic accident I reported a couple of days ago. Told him I ve never had an accident and hung up. Number now blocked. Ditto to last comment. Two or three times a day. If you answer it goes to a ringing tone. Balls to that. Have blocked about 30 0843 numbers so far. They just keep coming.

Rang me a few minutes ago on my mobile offering me 5 euro millions tickets for free if i completed a survey/questionnaire, i said no thankyou and that was that. But this is definitely a scam.

Rang my landline. ..I answered,no reply before hanging up. I have blocked this number along with others,I have had the same experience with.

Says I have large debts, which is untrue. I have no debts.
