Got a recorded message from this number about a tax enquiry, knew it was fake they ask you to press 1 to get connected, dont fall for it.

SCAM recorded voice claims the call is from BT Internet to say that there has been suspicious activity on my account. Invites me to press 1 to talk "To an Executive to resolve the issue". I waited until the caller hung up. Cannot find area code 0119. This is clearly a scam to lead me into a conversation with a fraudster. How are these people obtaining "UK numbers" from BT? Silent call at 10.36 2nd July 2021. Someone said 'Hello' in an Asian accent and when I answered with my name they ended the call.
They called me stating that they had called me over a month ago and I asked for them to review in a months time about a mortgage review, and whether they could save me interest, they proceeded to ask me who my mortgage lender was, when I informed them that I do not give this info out to random callers and that I would not ask for a call back as I am more than capable of identifying whether a review is required on my mortgage, they hung up with no mention of a goodbye, I am on TPS registry so again they are
