Asian accent said his name was Jacob. he stated he was from B.T. I said I doubt you are called Jacob or work for B.T. but go ahead and tell me what it is you really want. I can not bring myself to write down the torrent of foul mouthed abuse that came at me but I just hung up on him.
Pretending to be lloyds bank enquiring about fraud on credit card. Be careful as they will want your details. I went in branch and theu said nothing wrong with my card but to monitor these random calls.

Claimed to be from the telephone preference marketing service. Had lots of my details, tried to tell me that his company worked for BT. I got fed up. Told him I wasn t prepared to give him any details about card details etc and I could do what he was trying to do on my phone - which is exactly what I was going to do with his number. Notice I had a lot of calls from odd numbers today so perhaps the scam is to make lots of nuisance calls and then phone up and offer the service..
