I just had fun with 2 of these calls. Call 1: I pretended to be deaf and to mishear everything the caller said... who eventually disconnected! Call 2: when asked "and how are you today?" I responded by giving them a detailed litany of all my ailments, in my case all invented! I would not let the caller get a word in and I terminated the call by thanking them for calling about my health but I have to go now to have my piles looked at by the nurse and I did not want to miss my appointment. Try it...it is real

Maria Wilson from BT Openreach, telling me my IP address has changed from private to public. Very insistent that I was in high danger. Told me she was calling from Hammersmith, London - on a Cardiff number?? Obviously a scam, knew that from the word go but kept stringing her along for 10 mins before I put the phone down on her.

SCAM: Left voicemail, automated recording, claiming to be HMRC and that there is a law suit against me

Same company they phone from different numbers once they are blocked & they always phone twice a day at round about the same time!

A lady claiming she was from century finance saying my loan application had been accepted and I paid the 75 pounds to them then when paid they said money would be in by 2:20 this afternoon and was never in when I rang back to get my money back. Called me just now and claimed to be 'Jane from the NHS', in relation to the covid-19 pandemic and the need to update emergency medical records. I replied that the NHS would not do such a thing, and they immediately hung up.

Called said I had been in an accident that was my fault and they can help me with the claim and the fact is I've never been in accident so I told them to remove me from their database. Now they are using a different approach the accident was my fault.
