Yesterday and today I was called from 01761453627. I immediately recognised the code and first two digits of the second part of the number because I used to live in a village with the same code, 01761, followed by 45; the same as our old landline. The caller said he was ringing from BT's "unwanted call blocking service". I have had these calls - they phoned my mobile and I didn't think till later how they got it. They said they were calling re problems with cavity wall insulation which I had done a few years. I was convinced and made arrangements for a visit on Monday - its weekend now so cannot contact them. If they call I will just turn them away. Its so easy to get drawn in.
