Just had a missed call from this number and then a text saying that I have been involved in an accident and that they are her insurers and to phone them - very fishy!

Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. Scam Recorded message saying that a £600 transaction from a foreign country had been blocked by "your bank" the message did not name a specific bank. It was also a requirement for me to press 1 to discuss, which I didn't. The call dropped after 20 seconds. I have checked my banking and no such transaction appears to have taken place. Be careful out there people.
