Missed call, called back to find it these people asking me to do a household survey. I asked them to remove my number, they said would be done in 24-48hrs, I reminded them that they should temove it immediately (they do a call one day they sell the numbers on the next), they repeated their timeline so I reminded them of the law.

I have been asked to call this number by an Asian man who claims to be from the London police, he claims that I have not responded to a summons regarding an alleged act of fraud. The number is alleged to be a Mr.Jake Coles who is a representative of solicitors, who can give me details of the alleged fraud case. I suspect this to be some sort of scam as I have never commited any fraud, in any case I believe that the local police would be involved if there were some sort of ligitamate problem.

I have never agreed to having washing machine cover so know nothing of the policy. The caller said she was a policy advisor, I am eligible for a discount as I haven't made a claim. It is now to make payment - at the discounted amount, set up direct debit - not discounted, or cancel and pay a cancellation fee. I have never wanted the cover so why should I pay to cancel.
