Been called four times today and a few times throughout the last week. I selected option 1 to rectify fault (the recording claims BT are going to disconnect my broadband) the call went through to an ethnic accented lady who claimed she was working for BT, when she started asking which equipment I use, I queried it. Sounds like an alternate version of the Microsoft scam. I said I don't have broadband with BT, she hung up. Definitely a scam/phishing operation. Number will be blocked now.
Automated American sounding lady saying as above. Press 1 for ? Press 2 for not disconnecting. Didn't hear all of it as my grandson answered initially. Not something anyone wants to hear, and very scary for older and vulnerable people.
