Apparently I have won several thousand dollars in a US draw without buying a ticket. I was given a reference number but it sounds very much like a scam.

Keeps ringing me, very annoying, anyone know what company this is?

Said she was calling from a concert company but then went on to say she had just been informed that I d been involved in an accident that wasn t my fault. Ignore!

Missed call from this number which left voicemail, very heavy African accent, female automated voice, sounded a bit garbled. Said someone was "filing a lawsuit against you, press one now to talk to your caseworker" I ve heard of this scam doing the rounds, I ve now blocked this number and registered it with "Should I answer" app as dangerous scam.

I have also had the silent and then Goodbye calls from this number. Today I spoke to two of their agents on two seperate calls. The company is called Consumer Care Direct based in Manchester and claim to save money for you, as long as you give them some. I have received calls at my home land line number as well as my mobile . However I do not answer these types of call numbers . My real complaint is that I have a new number as my old number is now my business line , they do not ring that though just my new one and no one has been given that apart from family and close friends !!So how did they get it ?

Automated Scottish female voice left a message quoting a reference number and telephone number to call back. The company was called Zinc, which I m assuming is a debt collection company or someone attempting to steal my personal information, seeing as I have no debt.

Potential scam. There was a recorded message supposedely from my internet service provider (although it didn't say which ISP they were calling on behalf), saying that our internet service would be disconnected in 4 hours due to 'Router Malfunction'. Our router is working fine. I suspect this is a 'Technical Support Scam', where we would be expected to pay for fixing something that isn't broke.

We have received up to 5 calls before lunchtime from this number! Today I went through to the sales team to ask them to remove our number from the database, the girl started asking me how old my boiler is! When I was insistent she put the phone down on me, how rude!
