Missed the call, anyway, before seeing these comments. "Looks like a premium rate number" Sorry, but you re mistaken. 01, 02, 03 are all classed as national rate calls (apart from Channel Islands, Isle of Man) and 03xxx are business numbers. 0845 and 0870 numbers very widely being changed to 0345 and 0370 numbers so they are included in most calls packages (including from mobiles). Only 1899.com and 18185 (cheap call services when dialling using those prefixes before a number) are not including 03x

several calls from this number from people who are obviously using skype and claiming different reasons for calling- after certain individual, survey, investment advice etc.

Just coming back about the second number given in previous post - 002220 88199804. I asked the lady on the phone for the location of this number, she told me it was central London. Just to let you all know, Country code 002220 is Gambia!

this number called my daughter s (underage) phone. she has started getting "unknown" calls. don t know how. she is on pay as you go and her number is not linked to any website, she doesn t key it in to any "enquiries". Nobody spoke when I first answered then a woman came on and then a man asking about an accident I had had the day before that wasn't my fault.

Told me I d applied for a loan, I hadn t! Refused to give his details or tell me where he had got my number from. He was very rude demanding I agreed to applying for a loan and that I wanted one! I asked to speak with manager stating I believed fraud was being commited in my name. He said he was the manager and promptly hung up on me. Don t answer calls from this number, not a pleasant experience.
