This number is a genuine number but it has been spoofed by unscrupulous people. I called the number back and they have advised of the above and to ignore the call coming from that number. The genuine people are lovely, it’s the people using the number (spoofing it) that are the problem
Claim to be Virign Media, saying there's a problem with my broadband. Hung up when i reponded 10 to number of lights on the modem. Disappointed about that, wamt to have a rant, just for fun. 07488871531 I received a call from this number today it striaght went answerphone and left a message for me to ring 07782 333123 which is 3 answering service. This is a way scammers way of checking your phone number.
Automated call - Recorded woman's voice asking about damp in the house. Said they were from Housing authority. After three one word answers the call suddenly ended.
SCAM Robocall left partial message on my answerphone saying their fraud department had noticed a suspicious charge for £800 on my Visa card for online gambling in America. They had put the transaction on hold and if I wanted to reject the charge to press 1 and speak to their fraud department. Clearly a scam as I have no Visa cards.
