There seem to be many unknown callers. They tend to stop after six rings, so we simply let them stop without picking up. Annoying, all the same.

This guy hacked my friends Facebook and sent me a message saying "hey can I ask you a massive favour? I m having trouble with my PayPal, can I send you my months wages, and meet you for it later?". I called back the number after abvout the 10th missed call. They are a company called MJE who want me to make a claim for missold PPI due to a loan or credit card. I didn t take PPI so told them they were wrong. Asked how they got my number, they get their phone list from a company called DLG Marketing. Told them to take me off the list, we ll see if I get anymore calls.

Other similar sites reflect that this is a scammer - between 2 other sites I looked at, calls started from this number about 4 or so hours ago and the number has been searched almost 1,000 times!

Another load of con artists using the phone to try and extort money from gullible people. In my eyes these deadbeats are only one step from criminal. Who in their right mind would do business or give bank details over the phone, and to a unknown voice at an office or house with no address? You don t know these people, you don t know their location, you don t know their reputation, you don t even know what country they are ringing from!This is just telephone SPAM.
