Trying to sell something in my area but couldn't make out what. Told them to take my number of their list and not phone again..which they said they would.
Man with an Indian accent said he was calling from Telephone Preference Management and was I still getting nuisance calls. I entered the name into google and said to him that a Google search suggested his call was a scam and he replied 'get lost As*hole' Confirmation of the scam I think?
I picked up the phone on the second ring and asked who was there and whoever it was just hung up.
Irish chap calling from HomeTech or somesuch name. He garbled it so quickly it was hard to understand. He started on about TV insurance until I started laughing and informed him that I only have second hand/reconditioned televisions and haven't ever purchased a new one. He hung up pretty fast.
