Automated call purporting to be Amazon Prime reminding me of my subscription of £79.99 is due to be taken from my bank account. This account is in my daughters name, also if I want to speak to someone it said to dial 1, which I did and got an Asian sounding voice. When I tried to explain she cut me off. I had a missed call from this number and called back to get an automated voice messaging system that said to press 1 to speak to an agent or 9 to add my number to Do Not Dial list. I pressed 9 and the call was terminated.
I have no clue who this is. They’ll ring my phone multiple times a day. The odd chance I do answer, I get nothing, just silence a bit of noise in the background then they’ll end the phone no matter how many times i say “Hello”.

I was contacted by this number. A recorded message saying that £300 had been taken from my card for £300 to Amazon and also £1100 to another supplier I do not deal with. As usual with these calls I was asked to press different number. I immediately hung up and checked my accounts. to find nothing had been taken.

SCAM Further to my earlier review I managed to get the operator to give up on me by pretending to be deaf and unable to understand his heavy India accent (not entirely untrue on either count). Kept asking him to repeat all the questions and spell out everything: first his name, then the name of the company etc in a voice that makes me sound older than I am. After 2or 3 minutes he gave up.
