Recorded message supposedly from BT saying that there had been suspicious activity on my phone line and internet connection, "Press 1 to speak to someone to resolve this issue". I work in a church office and I'm sure this was a potential scam.
Had calls from 01509 553080 and 553082 saying they are from carphone Warehouse Head Office. Am expecting a call back today, but will ask for this deal to be confirmed in email.When you call the numbes back one is a message saying "Carephone Warehouse" the other is a message saying E2Save" is would guess this is not a Carphone warehouse employee and as a result will remove my business from them and go direct with the Service Provider.

Interviewer difficult to understand. Took 7 minutes and I ended it because the questions kept coming.
I answered and they put the phone down immediately
I had a call from this number offering a new boiler for £17 per month. Pressed 5 and ‘Shona’ asked “how may I help you ?” I said “Hello Shona, before we start could you tell me who you are and how you got my number?” she said “err, no!” and hung up.

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). The first time they rang there was call-centre style background noise so I hung up before anyone spoke. Calling later in the day, a man started by being friendly "How are you today", but when his introductory spiel mentioned he d be asking questions to find my opinion, I interrupted him to say I don t do surveys. I terminated the call and blocked the number with BT 1572 Call Protect
This is an iseal company offering scam fund recovery, they call during the day from 8am until 9pm at least 4 times a week. They are part of the scam adverts that facebook are running and they got my number from an advert as I bait scammers and expose them. This company are unaware that they have bought information from a scammer running ads on facebook but this company also want too much personal information considering they are hard to find on the internet.
