Automated call claiming to be from HMRC stating they were taking out a legal claim against me and to press 1 to find out my case agent.
Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! SCAM - "John" from "BT" called to help me sort out the issues with our router............he also called me from 01617983874 earlier in the day. When I asked him for a number that I could call him back on he tried to put me through to his supervisor and the phone went dead.

SCAM Called to tell me my internet was slow and they would fix it. They tried to send me to a website to fix it but when I asked if I could have a number to call them back to make sure they were legit they hung up. They then called back to ask when was a convenient time to call me and I restated I wanted to call them and they hung up again. The second time the call came from 01483828426.

I ve been called daily by this number but I have a call blocker on my android phone called "Truecaller" (I am not a salesman) which filtered it straight away. It does have apps but is very effective for nuisance callers. Hope this helps.
Been called twice in two days by this number. Told the caller yesterday that I wasn t interested in whatever it is they want, but they still called me again today.
