Called at 13:51 today by a foreign sounding male, who gave an English sounding name. Said he was calling on behalf of Marks & Spencer and stated they had been given my number by the Government. When I said I wasn t the person he was asking for (I was) he said "then why the f**k did you waste my time then you b***h" before disconnecting the call. Charming gentleman.

called me 3 times within 1 minute, first time i ignored, second time i picked up and waiting for the caller to talk and she spoke really aggressively so i hung up, she then called a third time and accused me of talking to her boyfriend when i clearly have no idea or connection to this number! totally out of order

This company has called me several times over a period of months. After the first 3 calls I told them in no uncertain manner that I was fed up with their calls and not to call again. However the same number calls me regularly, despite the fact that I never answer now. Surely this is harassment?

Web development company from India using a false UK landline number. This is now the 70th call from an overseas company after registering a domain name yesterday. As a web development company of many years standing, we have never had this hassle before when registering new domain names for our clients. These people are like vultures!!!! I can t blame them for trying but for goodness sake, DO IT ABOVE BOARD, STOP HIDING BEHIND FAKE UK NUMBERS!!!

This number just rang me. It went to answerphone with no messgae left!

Be careful it is a scam! They say that they are from Scottish Power but after the call I called my energy supplier and the operator said me that this is a fake number

Received automated call after attempting to make a payment with my card which was refused. Automated voicemail left this number to call. This number is for the Fraud line call centre in Sunderland. I was wary at first about giving details and voiced this but service advisor said if worried not legit to call number on the back of my card and will be put through to them (not pressured into giving any security info at all). On answering refused to provide company name and address, was also decline employees name. Then the phone was put down by the firm that called on me. I only sourced this number due to some detective work. Avoid this company. Disrepectful scum
