I also recieved a call supposedly from Hewlett Packard. From what I could understand from his thick Indian accent, He was calling all owners of a certain manufactured computer to warn them about some problem....asked if I was on my computer now. I told him to send me an email about this problem and hung up.

The cal was not important and we will try again later. Goodbye" A Google search for Media Match shows a US firm with this name, but on websites similar to this one they claim that they do not cold-call and that their name is being mis-used. SCAM 07971737143 just called me for the 2nd time today on a Saturday bot call to say it was Amazon, it wasn't they said some had ordered something on my visa debit card don't have one of those and I had to talk to someone normally I hang up but I am so mad at these people that I pressed 1 told them I knew they where scammers that no money had come off my card and if they kept on about it my father's lawyers would hear about it they hung up very quickly.

Automated call third time today,informing me that my Amazon account would be auto renewed and £39.99 would be taken from my bank account, and to press1 if I wanted to change this.
Very poor line. A caller with a strong Indian accent claimed to be calling from BT claiming that somebody had been using my internet connection without my permission. I have had various calls of this nature from other numbers recently, one of them asking for remote access to my computer. They hung up when I told them that I had recently checked the hub admin screen and had seen no evidence of misuse.
