Male Asian voice claimed to be from Talk Talk phoning customers about the internet connection being currently unsafe!! I put the phone down after saying that I was not interested.

Claimed to be from Vodafone regarding upgrade. Asked for numbers from my security pin and address confirmation. I did not give any details out and said I would visit store when...

Keeps calling but leaves no message. When I answer they hang up straight away.

The number is spoofed by the scammers and the call is not from within the UK.

they called my mobile today and hung up before I answered. I called back using my land line. A recorded message said "the call you received was a marketing call. we may or may not contact you again". I think they are just collecting real people telephone numbers to sell them on to other marketing companies. Don t do what I did because they now have both my mobile number and the land line number. Best thing to do is if you don t know the caller ignore them

Said they followed up my claim for missold insurance. I asked where they got my number. They said from various databases , I asked them to put a note on their system not to call me back...

Life insurance using a local number

I ve been getting calls from this number on and off for a year and two things happen I answer and total silence or they attempt to make me buy a higher priced data pack and when I state that I don t need a higher priced data pack and even if I did I would just change it directly with their app they start getting more aggressive about it. My sister also just got a call from them and I just told her to hang up if they start poking for personal details which they did, me and my sister have blocked this number

A recorded message saying there are 2 payments from my card to Amazon for (... amounts irrelevant.... ) please press 1 to speak to an advisor.... SCAM heard it before.

They are a loan company as well that use "TPS" withheld numbers. then they tell u that they will not txt u again but still do? They have no legal department they tell ...

This number keeps calling one of our company mobiles. It s very frustrating please leave us alone it s harassment!!!!!!

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Started by stating as if fact they were calling in relation to a traffic accident I had, when queried they widened it to in the last 5 years. Alarm bells went off, I said I had but no injuries claim closed and they then tried to push on that and I said bye and closed call. Sharks...

Defo a parking fine scam. I let the call ring to voicemail as I didn t know the number and the message left was a clever automated one that perhaps changes if someone picks up. The message started halfway into a sentence, saying " ...from 2012 so erm the total charge for the ticket including interest is £220, how would you like to pay . Then a silent gap, I assume timed for someone who answered to say something in response. Then him saying "if you don t pay by tomorrow would you like that to happen?" T

Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.
