0742 Sunday morning - hung up on picking up call.

Definitely a scam, automated call stating my National Insurance number was at risk of being put on hold due to it being linked to illegal activity.

Said they were from O2 and my address was 4years out of date.

I never answer unknown numbers (as a high percentage are PPI/"you ve been involved in an accident"/Debt/"You ve a virus on your computer" type of call - that I look up afterwards on these websites). Received three calls this morning. First, claiming to be from BT calling about my internet service. Second, silence when I answer. Third, claiming to be from TalkTalk and claiming that my internet will be shut down in 24 hours and my internet has been hacked by foreigners. I requested their full name and received no answer. I ended the call.

The first time they rang there was call-centre style background noise so I hung up before anyone spoke. Calling later in the day, a man started by being friendly "How are you today", but when his introductory spiel mentioned he d be asking questions to find my opinion, I interrupted him to say I don t do surveys. I terminated the call and blocked the number with BT 1572 Call Protect
