Lots of missed calls from this (and very similar) number - suspect it is cold calling scammers!

i have has several calls a day in the last couple of weeks from this "company" asking for someone ive never heard of,my landline is ex directory,when told this they say its the number they have been given for contact by this person,ive told them they are wrong,go check the address they have for this person,then check the electoral role for who lives at my address,,they replied with"we have no address for the client as it was done online,,what utter rubbish,ive had enough and im losing patience

Some called offering to get rid of cold call, automated calls basically every type of call you don t want. For a small fee of ?1.90 per month, they would provide a box to stop the calls. Is it me or shouldn t BT be doing this for free

Just got my first one from this number this morning. Before I had chance to open they hung up. Glad I found some info before thinking about ringing them back. I don t know why the authorities don t ban people/companies who do this (i.e. dial and hang up so they will get paid by people trying to call back)

This number called me to remind me of an upcoming appointment at birmingham women s hospital and to confirm I would still be attending. It is an automated service and when I called back I was informed of who called me and told not to worry as it s a courtesy call and not an emergency. A trustworthy number

Two calls from these CLINTS today so far. Silence when I answered. These ass holes are blighting my landline. If I started calling a random person and doing this BT would trace the calls and the police, quite rightly, would be down on me like a ton of bricks. I m a little person you see. I am expected to obey the law and pay my taxes or face the consequences. The law doesn t apply to big business though. They can do what they like and the government does sod all about it. this number rings us daily, every time you answer theres silence then a loud "BEEAAARR" sound and the line goes dead. we are in dorking and 01306 is our local code, presume some spammer/scammer/marketer spoofing the number, or calling from a VOIP number, hoping we d be more likely to answer a local code call. Time wasters, never a human there, what is the point of these calls? June 2016.
