If you receive a cold call from an organisation you don t know, just take as many details as you can, even if it s just the number and time of call and report it the Information Commissioner s Office (ICO) via this link https://ico.org.uk/concerns/ If enough people do this these companies will be fined - sometime pushing them out of business - and we can all enjoy owning a private phone again.

Received at text message from +448454290090 stating I have a voicemail and to "call them on 22205 to hear this message at my normal caller rate". Erm.... I don t think so! I bet 22205 costs like million pounds a minute or something and also, why would they leave a message for me on that number and not on my number. SUPER suspicious. Blocked.

I believe this to be a nuisance call, My advise to others is If you have a answer machine leave a outgoing message to incoming callers saying that if this is a telemarketer or any unknown caller ringing, that this call is classed as harassment and an invasion of your privacy and that you will ignore their call". I monitor all my calls and if I don t recognize the number I just let the answer machine takeover, they never leave a message and since I have been doing this my unwanted calls have started to cease

Call a person /persons I m assisting simply don t communicate by phone ignore, block , change number. Check if debt is enforceable if not don t pay it ,arrange repayment by letter if you wish or request they take you to court and then leave it until you hear from the court. They can ask for payment they cannot enforce it just change numbers bin letter . I don t know what exactly they wanted. They called saying that this was related to life insurance and demanded to speak with my husband. When I asked for further information, she refused to give any, so i refused to further the message.

my relocation agent tamara always rings me i have only ever rang them twice and managed to get through to somebody she got me a new flat in about 6 days which is a quick time because i am on housing benefit and don t work yet so i am really grateful they helped me so quickly never had any problems at all with them and would use them again if i have to move every again

The person had my Christian name. He made a speculative statement that I had had a minor traffic bump within the last 2 years. I have not, so it was easy to cut the call off.

Received voicemail saying to Call this number before things get worse problems. Immediately called back. No reply. Tried four times. No reply. Eventually was answered. Initially silence then after e a couple seconds heard what sounded like an announcement at a railway station or airport in the background then suddenly went dead. All subsequent attempts to refusal again have failed. .
