Said they were calling to offer free inspection of loft insulation because the Government has designated some of the old stuff as "irritant". I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. As far as I am concerned all phone callers are potential con artist so I very rarely answer my phone these days. Got a call on 26 May at 12:03, no one on the other side, just hung up. Got a phone call from another unknown number same day from same area (01743562667). Again no one on the other side. Very annoying! I suspect it might be someone trying to scam vulnerable people during coronavirus.
