started getting messages soon after texting with BT, on the hour, every hour, that made little sense nor related to my BT calls. Spoke to BT who confirmed the texts were not from them. Have turned the phone off for the night to see if that stops it.

SCAM: Third identical scam call today. The usual ‘there has been suspicious activity on your BT line, and your line & internet will be cut off’ automated call. Press 1 to speak to someone. No thanks, especially as I do NOT have a BT line! This time the phone number was the same as my last call, apart from the last 4 digits.

I had the same text from the number mentioned, preceeded by a text from Natwest saying there was potentially fraudulent activity on my account - I ignored it, and then my phone rang and a recorded message claiming to be NatWest told me to call the number calling me (08453560020)...I decided to ignore this too. Well I thought it was someone trying to get sexual with me until I put the number in here and seen,realised these ejits had text me twice of different numbers!!!
