i had to tell the man on the other end that i have reported the number and that its been traced to them and the police were on their way. the i heard him swearing using the F word, then hang up.i laughed.

Fake number so definitely a scammer. NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a large charge ...

This company has called at least twice, asking for a person who has never lived here and when asked what number they called they gave a number for the area I live in but not mine. Found theirs by 1471. A Phishing call. Never give out any info, I do not even give my name or real number!

Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. When they start into their crap, just tell them you might have something of interest to them and then start some fake selling line on them, just like they are trying on you!! They will go away! Worked for me!!
