This number have been calling me twice a day, one in the morning another in late afternoon, for the last four days. I have not answered it yet but I am sure it is a sale call.

Recieved a text called number on the back of my card and verified it was a genuine HSBC number they confirmed and reassured me and they stated that I was wise to check. Good on HSBC they had noted 3 bogus transactions.

I have been abroad for 2 months and started to receive calls at night in the second week of being away (due to time difference I guess) on average once a week. I have never answered & no message is left. Although the number shows as a regular number on phone call list you can t return the call using the number. On googling area code it shows as Glasgow, & on googling the whole number various sites come up with people recounting similar stories - so I will try to block number / not answer...and would advise

They called me 3 times a day for a month before I finally decided to answer the phone. I was very polite when they started telling me how they were not trying to lend me money, however they WERE offering a great rate on loans (uuummm???) so I managed to interrupt the lady and said that I was perfectly fine financially and had no need for a loan, and that my phone number must have been sold to them without my permission. I got a 'eBay' code (allegedly) from this number. To those people who are saying this number is genuine, what made them go on to this website? If I get a genuine text, I don't then search that number on the internet and then make a comment on a site that deals with dodgy phone numbers. There are many such comments, which is even more suspicious!
