Knew it was a scam so said i would renew but just needed to get my card. Kept him waiting 5 minutes then read out totally made up card. He said there must be some digits wrong. Unsolicited call from an alleged agency touting for business regarding RTC claims. Female advises they have been informed that you have been involved in an RTC recently and asks if this is correct. When you answer no, a recorded message cuts in and says that they will remove your number from their records and wishes you a nice day! Call then disconnects. Fraud: Claiming to be the UK Refund Department, telling me my name and number have been listed as due a PPI refund of nearly £4,000. When I tried to stop her talking and explain that I am not entitled to PPI refund, having never had PPI, she continued to reel off her blurb. When she finally heard me, she stated that I did not need PPI to get the refund??? I asked for my name and number to be removed from the database. She continued the blurb. I repeated myself until she finally told me to F*** Off!!!
