Been getting missed calls from them every day for 3 days. Finally decided to pick up today and it was a woman asking for a Miss Bank . I said she had the wrong number and she just hung up. Clearly meant to be a scam, they always use common names like that to hook you in. Blocked caller.

Claimed to be from the telephone preference marketing service. Had lots of my details, tried to tell me that his company worked for BT. I got fed up. Told him I wasn t prepared to give him any details about card details etc and I could do what he was trying to do on my phone - which is exactly what I was going to do with his number. Notice I had a lot of calls from odd numbers today so perhaps the scam is to make lots of nuisance calls and then phone up and offer the service..

Received a message advising I had set up a new recipient on a account from my account with Lloyd’s Bank. If not me call the number back. I don’t have any accounts with this bank so ignored and deleted.

I got a call from Michelle Williams from CFS Group and she asked to speak with CEO. She claims it’s not a sales call but “a revenue tax and trade supply matter”. When I asked if she was in contact with the CEO before or if she has his contact details, she replied negatively saying “no, this was just brought to my attention”. She asked if the CEO can give her a call back.

AFTER I PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND GOOGLED THE NUMBER I FOUND THIS WEBSITE. I TOO MADE A PURCHASE OF SPACE BAGS AND REMEMBER RECEIVING THE PHONE CALL AND THE HOLIDAY BROCHURE BUT CAN T RECALL ANY MENTION OF A CHARGE IF I DIDN T DECLINE THE OFFER OF THEIR SERVICES....WHAT A SCAM.
