I said, this call is being recorded, I neither know who you are or from whom you bought my number but as I am registered with tps you are breaking all regulations on Telecommunications now what do you want? All I got were stuttered uhms ahs and sorry we ll take your number off our system. So far no more calls..Don t let them get to you, fight back and get them on the back foot!

Called on our TPS registered line from a predictive dialler (i.e. we pick up the phone, say "Hello" and give our company name, then there is silence until the call is actually connected with a sudden burst of call-centre noise and a voice says "Hello?"). Claimed to be calling "On behalf of The Trade Directory", yadda-yadda-yadda. Hung up after a few seconds, as couldn t be bothered to listen to yet another heavily-accented drone stumbling through his script at us, down a crackly VoIP line from Mumbai.
Also received this call at around 9:40-45 this morning. Blocked immediately. I am confused to how these companies obtain my number as I never sign up, give out or register my number with any services and the only conclusion I can come up with are now app d
