Had 3 calls over the last few days from various numbers all starting with the same dalling code, 01926. As this is the code where we live, answered the first call - no immediate response but after a few seconds, over a very crackly line, what sounded like a well spoken middle aged white lady, said something along the lines of 'suspicious transactions on my account, one for £300 odd & the other for £1,400 odd & I must do certain things at which point I hung up. SCAM used to work for this company we were essentially paid to call elderly customers and lie to them that we were Dyson and miele and they had to pay for mandatory vacuum servicing etc, they would push us to sell to those with dementia because they could charge more and service more frequently awful company.

Automated call, when I answered it simply said 'Goodbye' and rang off. I'm guessing that no call centre operative was available at that moment to handle a call made by automated software. Or it noticed a TPS opt out.

I received a message saying I owe £2.99 to Royal Mail and to enter my bank details because my card had declined, but I had more in my account - plus, everything I'd ordered, I'd already been charged for.
Missed a call from this number. No message left.
No one there when I answered
Cold-phoned us claiming to be current suppliers of ours, but I'd never heard their name before. Sounded a bit suspect.
Recorded message to say credit card had tried to be used twice and to press one to approve. Checked with bank and no transactions had been tried. Therefore scam.

100% nuisance caller. Starts with a guy who sounds likes he is mildly retarded asking to speak with "accounts payable". Ask who they are, he is evasive and eventually responding "Sovereign" regarding foreign payments. Doesn't matter how politely, or not so politely, you ask them to stop calling they will ring again a few weeks later. We just put him on hold and and leave him there.
