Said he was calling from my household insurance company, which was a lie because I am with Domestic and General. He kept trying to say it was an adjustment to my payment method. When I let on I was with Domestic & General he rudely hung up without another word. I am registered with TPS so this is a real nuisance to keep getting calls like this.

I said I had not and the person on the line said it would be okay but we must act quickly and run through some network checks. When I said I was on an Apple device (Macbook) he immediately hung up as these devices are less vulnerable. My advice to anyone would be, never answer to an unknown number unless it s followed by a text message. Even then you should only respond to a text if the message interests you.
