Got a call from this number despite having bought a new phone. I didn't recognise the number so I declined the call right away.

This number calls me at least 3 times a week. Whenever I pick it up, there s no sound at all. Very irritating.

Constantly phoning my mobile up to 4 times per day for the past week, stating i am entitled to claim PPI on finance i have had in the last 12 years, when i said i have never had any finance, he said well 12 to 20 years then, and i said i don t think you have any idea what age i am !!! However i continued to ask them to stop calling me and all he did was continually speak over me and i hung up the phone and just before i did i said i was going to be contacting the police.

My answer phone picked up their call but all I could hear were fizzes and crackles. Sounded dodgy to me so I didn t ring back. Sounds as if I did the right thing.

Irrelevant whether you give your number out, as these people just use auto diallers, which take no account of ex directory, TPS etc status.

This number rang just as I was about to have my lunch. It was "Dave" from Windows so I cut him off. Immediately he rang again so again I cut him off. He rang a third time and I told him that I had cut him off twice and there was nothing wrong with my Computer and told him to stop ringing me. I cut him off again.

Well, after a couple of days of peace and quiet from this number.. they ve started again, with a VENGEANCE! I have reported them to EVERYONE they can be reported too, and now, im on plan B! FYI if you re on "talktalk" you can set up "last caller barring" which allows you to block up to 10 numbers from ringing you :) and its FREE!! im in the process of setting this up now, and hopefully it will stop all this nonsense! Criminal again. Said it was my internet provider and my IP address was compromised and to press 1 to connect to an engineer. More like connect to a crook who would try and part me from my money. This is the second one of these in the past hour. another number for the call blocker.
